Host a
House Concert
An evening of original Americana in your living room —
intimate, story-driven, and unlike anything your guests have experienced.
The Most Intimate Live Music Experience There Is
A house concert is a small, invitation-only live music event hosted in a private home, church hall, backyard, or community space. There's no stage lighting, no cover charge, no bar noise — just an artist, an audience, and songs that have something to say.
Brooks Maguire has been performing house concerts for years, and they remain his favorite format. The intimacy changes everything — stories land differently when you're ten feet away, and songs carry more weight when the room is completely present.
This is a concert, not background entertainment. The music is the main event. Guests come to listen, to feel, and to be part of something that a stadium show can never offer.
Your Space
Living room, backyard, church hall, community space, or clubhouse. If it fits 25–80 people comfortably, it works.
Original Songs
Brooks performs original Americana from his five-album catalog — each song introduced with the story behind it.
Your Community
You invite the people — friends, family, neighbors, colleagues. 25–80 guests is the ideal range.
Donation-Based Entry
Guests attend free. A voluntary donation is collected at the end to support the music. No tickets. No barriers.
When the room goes quiet and you can feel everyone leaning in — that's the moment a house concert becomes something people remember for the rest of their lives.— Brooks Maguire
Simple to Host.
Unforgettable to Attend.
Hosting a house concert is easier than most people expect. Here's the complete picture from first conversation to final applause.
Start the Conversation
Fill out the inquiry form below with your location, type of space, estimated guest count, and a general timeframe. Brooks will follow up personally to discuss the details and see if it's a good fit.
Confirm the Date & Details
Once the date is set, you'll receive the full Host Guide — everything you need to know about setup, seating, the donation collection, and how to prepare your space for an ideal listening environment.
Invite Your Guests
Invite 25–80 people who enjoy live music and will give it their full attention. Brooks can provide invitation language and RSVP support. Send the first invitation 4–6 weeks out, a reminder at 2 weeks, and a final note the week of the show.
Brooks Handles the Music
Brooks travels to the event at his own expense and handles the entire performance — set list, stories, pacing, and energy. All he needs from you is the space, the audience, and overnight accommodations (in your home or nearby lodging).
An Evening Everyone Remembers
The donation collection happens at the conclusion of the show. Guests give what they feel, and the evening closes with the kind of warmth that only happens when live music fills a room meant for it.
